#SETTING UP CITECT TO AUTOMATICALLY BE LOGGED IN PATCH#
The file path for UAT Patch testing is: \\MMS-COLO-PUL-03\patch\22729\client\guiapps\qp\qpi\qpi-fimportcitec-foxleigh.w.Setup the function in Menu Function Maintenance, as shown below. Note that currently there is no way to determine from the schedules whether the setting was to import CITECT or LAB data, so it is safest to delete and recreate both. To find existing upload schedules that you created, use menu option 4754, or for schedules created by someone else, use menu option 4753. To edit the CITECT or LAB data auto upload schedule, it is recommended that you use CHUI to find and delete the existing schedules, then create new schedules via GUI, as described above. You can check the status of the batch scheduler via CHUI, as shown below. It is normally set to run every 60 seconds, so run now may take up to 60 seconds to be triggered. Note that the Batch Job Scheduler needs to be running for either the "Run Now" and "Set Schedule" import processes to actually run.

This creates a batch job that can be viewed and edited using Pulse CHUI (see below). Selecting the Set Schedule option opens the "Import CSV Data Files" screen, so that submission times and days or intervals can be set.ĭetails of the choices made are shown on the import screen.Ĭlick submit to save. However the procedure has checks built in to ensure the CITECT data is imported before any LAB data covering the same period. Note that all files in the nominated location that contain "CITECT" or "LAB" in their filenames will be imported by the process when it runs.

The values that need to be entered into this screen are: or the import process for each file can be scheduled to occur (together or separately) at determined times or intervals see below. The CHPP Data Import (FOX) screen facilitates CITECT and Lab data file to be imported manually ("Run Now"). This can be done via the External Systems X-Reference screen (see Setup Details). Some of these values, such as the mine's Source Location, may need to be changed from time to time. The missing data is populated by setting up default values within the Production system's External Systems X-Reference table. Neither the CITECT nor the Lab data csv files contain all the information required to create production records in Pulse. More details are shown in the specification document, a copy of which is available to both FOX and Pulse.

The CITECT data is generated and imported first, then when the quality Lab data becomes available, it is appended to the appropriate records that were created by the CITECT data import. This accommodates a two-stage import process (from csv file), whereby basic production data becomes available from the CITECT system first, followed later by "Lab" data relating to the output coal's measured quality.īoth CITECT and Lab data files contain records for each 2-hour period. Operations > External > External Systems X-ReferenceĪ custom CHPP data import process has been created for Foxleigh.

Note that Setup also uses the External System X-Reference screen at: The Function Name and File Name are shown in Setup Details.

It will otherwise be overwritten whenever a Pulse Release upgrade is deployed. When setting up for Foxleigh users in UAT and Live, it should be added to custom Foxleigh Production menus only. Operations > External > CHPP Data Import (FOX) It has been added in the Foxleigh UAT system to the Pulse Complete Gui Menu under: This menu option does not appear on any standard Pulse menu group, as it is a custom procedure for Foxleigh only.
